Rundown

Kila Ka'aihue is up
And has now made it into 2 games more then if BB were still the manager, wonder if Kila or Shealy shall be the power hitter we've searched for. Who knows other then what Kila has done is very reminisc of what one Craig Brazell did last year. Come to think of it,
Royals 1B-men of note since 04,
Ryan Shealy
Justin Huber
Ken Harvey
Craig Brazell
Calvin Pickering
Matt Stairs
Doug Mientkiewicz
Ross Gload

Power in the Free Agent market
A recent MLBTR article said, we will not resign Grudzielanek but will look to sign Ibanez and Furcal and that's fine by me but will they help the team win more games probably.

The K-Men
Enough with the talk the Royals must sign Greinke long term even if it means they don't sign some FA because the way Zack and Gil have been on a K streak. We should vote Grienke/Meche in 09.
But while dreaming let's look at what the rotation could look like:
  1. C.C. Sabathia
  2. Zack Grienke
  3. Ben Sheets
  4. Gil Meche
  5. Luke Hochevar
Yep that's one that's to good to be true.

Our Buddy Horacio
Is no longer in the grove since moving away from Gates BBQ (get it Horacio-Horatio Gates ?) as he is now 0-3 with a 6.75 ERA in 11 games and a K/BB of 2/5
Thank you Horacio now sink the pale horse

So who's the clone ?
In case you didn't know the Reds also have a Ramon RamirezAs do we

But only one can be crowned best looking RamRam I'll cast the first vote of the contest for Ramon Ramirez. While we're at it let's send our Tony Pena to the D-Backs as a gift.

Leaving you with this:
Todd Hellemeyer I mean Wellemyer is 12-6 with an ERA of 3.74 and 168.1 IP this year.
Even worse LaRue is batting .236 for the Sparrows.
